. . . . . .
On Your Bike is vital for many charities and as the corona virus emergency has evolved we find that such an event as ours is no longer possible. So we have straight away decided on a new date and look forward to you all booking in.
Sunday, 20 September is now the date for you all to join us at Gravesend Riverside Leisure Area and go for the biggest event we have ever had.
Gravesend Rotary has announced that the main beneficiary for 2020 is Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services. See the 'Help Them' page.
If you have already registered look out for an email from us (also being sent to all our event contacts) and we will automatically transfer your registration to the postponed ride. If you take this option please keep your riders' pack to use in September.
You may cancel your registration. If you wish to cancel please email us at email@example.com (and not any other address). If you choose this option we can refund your entry donation if you ask us for it. However please consider leaving it as a donation to the charities we support. We will not return your entry donation unless you ask for its return.
We look forward to your support for our ride on 20 September.
Organised for 34
years by The Rotary Club of Gravesend
Said to be the best organised ride in the South East!
Our 15, 30 and 45 mile routes take you out and back from beside the River Thames at Gravesend into Kent countryside with checkpoints and support on the way..
The 15 mile is especially good for families as it uses the SUSTRANS route across North Kent Marshes.
Thanks to our riders we are able to provide help and progress. Thanks to our sponsors we are able to hand over the maximum possible to help.
But we also need to recognise help from all these people:
Local Rotary and Lions clubs, Gravesend Cyclists Touring Club, Medway Raynet.
We also have support from Inner Wheel, Tri the Bike Shop, Lancaster Interiors, Singlewell Stationery,
and Gravesham Borough Council.
This year again we are pleased to work with Gullands (solicitors) and Nuffield Health Medway, Gravesend & Dartford Cycle Forum and the Cyclopark at Gravesend.
IMPORTANT FOR YOU. Remember that you must give your number at each check point you reach. Please do!
Our great day out is now going to be in September and we want to make sure we get as many riders as we can handle.
All the routes will be marked and check points awaiting you. That speciality slate coaster as a thank you too.
Look out for the details and you will also be part of a free draw for a cycling kit prize sponsored by Tri-The Bike Shop of Windmill Street, Gravesend.
